I often get accused of only showing things that are going well, so to break a tradition, here we set about ploughing some winter beans in on the 5th. It wasn’t going to well because it was a bit wet. I left the plough in the field so I could return the next morning, but the weather put pay to that idea. All i’ve got to do now is retrieve the plough from the field somehow!

10 days later, and we’ve abandon the plan to plough winter beans in. We are now ploughing the ground in the hope that it will dry enough to allow us to combination drill winter beans. Failing this the ground will be left until the spring.
